Ambulatory Surgery Nursing Director
An award-winning ambulatory surgery center based in Long Island is now seeking an experienced Ambulatory Surgery Nursing Director to join their leading healthcare team.
Known as the region's largest and most advanced endoscopy center, this 10,000 square-foot facility boasts 4 state-of-the-art procedure rooms and 15 pre-op and post-op bays.
This center currently supports 11 board certified Gastroenterologists that specialize in cost-effective endoscopic procedures and proudly cares for more than 200 patients each week.
The Ambulatory Surgery Nursing Director will oversee all clinical and administrative functions of the center and promote the overall success of the organization.
The Nursing Director is responsible for managing nursing staff, ensures efficient patient flow, monitors staff performance, provides training and professional advancement opportunities, oversees center inventory and supplies, and manages center fiscal operations.
The Nursing Director will also serve as an active leader within the Quality Improvement, Risk Management, Infection Control, and Patient Safety committees.
This role reports to the center Administrator.
